Whats in my April bag

Its that time of the month again when I share my favourites and serioulsy essential in my life and in my work. Oh how I love beauty products so here is the list:

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation: This foundation is just one of my all time favourites for myself and for when I am on a photoshoot. It just blends so beautifully into the skin leaving it looking and feeling amazing. Skin looks so natural and gives the illusion of being totally flawless plus in looks amazing in front of the camera. The Sheer Glow Foundation has featured in my favourites before and its right back there this month. Love Love Love

Claudile Beauty Elixir: This product has been on my wish list for quite some time and finally I ordered myself one, and my lovely mum bought it out to me in Cape Town. Howvever I just discovered its available in SA on strawberry.net. I first spotted it in makeup artist Lotte’s pro kit and for some reason waited a year to get it. I apply as part as my beauty routine before I apply my makeup as it helps tighten pores and give my skin a boost of radiance. It gives me the wake me up I need every morning especially when I am over tired as its perfect to give dull skin a glow. Main ingredients are grape, orange blossom, rose, organic balm mint and rosemary.

Chanel Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow Fluid SPF 15: I am the biggest fan of the Healthy Glow family and now they have added 2 new editions, one is the healthy glow fluid which launches in SA on 5th May. Its a tinted illuminator and comes in 6 shades and can either be worn or bare skin if you going for the very natural look and then contour with one of the healthy glow powders, or it can be used as a base and then foundation or BB cream on top. It makes me skin look really radiant and leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth plus it has an SPF. Its not cheap but I don’t care its Chanel. Will do a full review next week.

Mac Waveline Fluidline: I love blue makeup its been a favourite of mine for a while, a perfect modern take on makeup either by creating a smokey eye or a feline flick. The first time I saw this shade in the Mac store I was mesmirised by the shade and all I could say its Oh its so pretty. It’s a deep blue with a hint of purple gel liner and can be used to create a beautiful graphic eye, a more sexy feline flick or as a base for a smokey eye. Its perfect for winter that is approaching us imminently and even though I have had it a while I have fallen in love with it all over again.

Smashbox BB Cream Eyes: In the past few weeks I have been feeling exhausted and when I am tired it shows under my eyes. The BB cream for the eyes has made its way into my personal stash and I have been using this bad boy of a product to lighten up under my eye area while keeping my skin really hydrated, this one is going to be a key part of my winter makeup.

Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder: I just can’t get enough of this beautiful matt bronzer I purchased a few weeks ago its taken over most of my other bronzers. It has a beautiful finish and blends into my skin beautifully and basically gives me a healthy glow.

Mac Spring Forcast Lipstick Palette: I misplaced this palette for ages it turned out to be in one of my clutch bags! I love Mac lipsticks and I love these palettes for some reason they don’t bring them to SA which is very annoying but luckily I get my hands on the palettes on my UK trips. This palette is perfect for any season with brights and a dark shade for the night or winter days. I am such a fan of Mac lipsticks and I pretty much have all the palettes. If you can get your hands on one of them then they definitely worth it with 6 shades per palette.
