My latest beauty editorial in the Elle magazine SA March issue is out and I have to say I am totally in love with it. I had wanted to do as creative eye story for some time that still had trend elements to it and the beauty editor Nicole let me do the research and put my ideas forward and voila here it is. Its all about different ways to work the eyes whether its a wearable day to day look or a bold look we cover it all. The opening look its all about the gold eyes with a graphic element the best way to create your shape is with a brush like the Mac 212 Definer brush it makes it so easy and then take a flat brush to fill on the rest.

I love the blue liner look its definitely one of my favourites and the most wearable for every day. If you didn’t catch my tutorial on the look check it out here.

There are so many ways to work the graohic eye here its an alternative to the usual cat eye as all the focus is on the outer edge of the eyes. Take a fine liner eyeliner brush to create you shape and then fill in. I love the Mac Fluidline in Black Track or the Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner. Next week I will be posting the makeup tutorial for this look so watch this space.elle beauty eye 1This look is definitely the more eye look and would probably be used for a shoot rather than a night out but if you feeling bold you can def give it a try. It could be a cool look for a night out or a festival vibe.

This was my favourite look to do as it was the first time I attempted a look like this. Its definitely the most out there of all the looks and looks incredible with Hilda’s flawless complexion and nude lips. I totally love it and blue is definitely a trend colour.

elle beauty eye 2 copyThis was the first look of the day and on Monday I will be posting the makeup tutorial I filmed on set. Its the trend ombre eye with a grey and tan brown on top and borron of the eyes. I finished off lashes with one of my new favourite mascara’s the Smashbox X-Rated. To get the amazing complexion I used another favourite the Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude foundation finished off with a nude lip from the Rimmel Kate Moss nude collection.
