My latest beauty editorial for Elle magazine is a hair trend story and how to keep your hair looking cool and modern with fresh gorgeous makeup to be right on trend. I did the makeup for this story with my brief being amazing dewy skin, with lots of highlighting, a pink blush contour, strong brows, a wet eye look and nude lips.

The skin as you know is the most important part as you can’t get the dewy without the skincare and as you know I prep using quite a few products from Dermalogica with the Antioxidant Hydramist being one of my favourites. But there is a new product to my kit that I have fallen in love with its the Mac Lightful C Marine Bright Formula Essence and amazing lightweight serum that adds moisture, plumps the skin and gives a gorgeous radiance to the complexion.

Its the first time I have used a pink blush as a contour for a shoot and a pink blush works perfectly as it looks a bit more natural but really brightens up the complexion. Here I used my fav the Guerlain Pink Me Up Blush. To get the beautiful wet look on the eyes I used the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Cabo Coral with a brush and fingers working the product all the way to the brow bone and winging it out.

For highlighting I used the Mac Mineralise Skin Finish Lighstcapade for the lighter model and global glow for the darker model on top of the cheek bone, along the nose and on the cupids bow.

For lips I worked in diferent nudes from my mac lip palettes from peaches to pinks to compliment the eyes and not take away from the cool hairstyles.
