Get The Look: Beach Babe

When you at the beach and still want to look gorgeous there are a few little make up tips and body tips to make sure you are beach ready. I did this shoot for Men’s Health with the absolutely gorgeous Jomarie. So here is how I created her make up look and what I used on her body and hair:

Make Up: Make sure you apply sunscreen first even f your make up has SPF. For Jomarie’s skin I applied a moisturiser and sunscreen to make sure her skin was prepped. I then buffed in Mac Face and Body as its sheer and you don’t want to look like you are wearing make up, alternatively you can go for a tinted moisturiser. For the contouring I used my Chanel Healthy Glow Powder for that beautiful healthy glow to the skin as you know its one of my favourites, the powder can also be worn straight on to skin so if you don’t want to wear foundation just buff in the powder as either a bronzer or all over. I highligted using a cream based highlighter so it looked more natural I went for the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector on the top of the cheek bone, bridge of the nose and cupids bow. For the eyes I wanted them to look as natural as possible so it was about creating definition in the crease so I used Bobbi Brown eyeshadow in Sable and blended in with my MAC 217 blending brush. For the lashes if you going in the water opt for a waterproof mascara but for Jomarie I used Maybelline The Falsies and the brows I filled in using my Mac brow pencil in Fling. I kept the cheeks and lips pretty nude so for the blush I lightly dusted Mac blush in Coppertone and for the lips I used Mac lipstick  in Freckletone.

Hair: I kept it very natural so for Jomarie I just sprayed in Baptsite Dry Shampoo for brunettes to give some texture to the hair and little bit of body.

Body: Make sure your body is moisturised and you are wearing SPF. For the moisturiser I used my trusty Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Moisturiser and for the sunscreen Puiz Buin. I also added some shimmer to the body on the collar bone, arms and on the legs to give that extra definition.

Hope you enjoyed my post. Shahnaz x
