For the April issue of Marie Claire SA I shot an editorial that was all about winter layering mixing masculine and feminine mixed together. Working jumpers, skirts, trainers and jackets for those of you who don’t like to be too pretty in what they wear. I asked Rimmel for a couple of items to work the natural makeup look that would compliment the clothes. This makeup look is all about the no makeup makeup vibe but with a nude lip and a flush on the cheek to keep that subtle femininety.
If you didn’t read about the Rimmel Kate Moss Rose Gold lipstick Collection then click here to read the post. The lipstick collection this time had a mix of shades but still some amazing nude shades. For this shoot I used the Boho Nude which has a more brown undertone and matched Candice’s skintone perfectly. Its on of those shades that you need to have in your personal stash if you love a nude. Great for light to medium skintones like me.
For the cheeks I wanted to keep it natural so a cream base seeemed the perfect texture to achieve the look. The Rimmel Royal Blush in Regal Rose looks darker than it actually is. Its perfect for the natural flush as you can build up coverage. Dab onto the apples of the cheeks with fingers and then blend in with a brush to give that more natural look.
