This week I am trying to focus on more budget makeup brands, i started off talking about the Revlon foundation on Monday so today are some budget makeup picks that I really like and wanted to share with you.
Its actually the first time I have tried Woolworths own makeup collection W but I really love this pretty powder blush sugar and spice (R160) its a great way to add a healthy flush to the cheek and really brighten up the complexion.
I love Max Factor’s mascara’s and the Masterpiece glamour extensions 3-in-1 volumising mascara does exactly what is says. There is a formula containing volumising prills that makes lashes appear fuller. Its got a great applicator that contains over 30,000 carbon black fibres that is thicker at the top and coats those lashes instantly giving gorgeous volume, plus has a carbon black formulathat really intensifies the lashes (out in July R109.95). Thick lashes is a big trend this season so this mascara is perfect to achieve that look.
The Bourjois Smoky stories quads (R149.95) are not new to the market but they are new to me and I have to say I really like them. I am already a massive fan of the brand so it comes as no surprise that I would love the quads. The palette I got is good nude its perfect for day and then to take to night with the darker chocolate shade to add the smoke and the silver to add to the inner corner of the eyes to give that pop. The shadow blends easily and comes in 4 different shades but this is definitely my favourite one.I am really liking some of Avon’s makeup products the Boost It mascara (R69.90) is new to the collection and is another great volumising mascara at a really affordable price. It contains an anti-static technology that is clump free giving really beautiful looking lashes.
