The third instalment of fashion week was at Milan for the AW15 trends and here are some of my fav looks. What I have noticed this season is that a lot of the makeup is much more wearable usually we see some crazy makeup but AW15 has a lot of pretty with a touch of bold.

I think the most out there makeup was the faux tattoos seen at Giamba created by Val Garland on the model’s face and hands. Skin is flawless with a liner on the bottom lash line and lots of mascara and a little fun with the tattoos. Am also loving the high gloss lips with the dark lip and the emphasis on the bottom lash line. Both looks really emphasise the bottom lashes and it just looks so pretty.

Fresh skin is key in all the looks so as you all know skincare skincare skincare is so key.

The contoured eye was a trend last year and is a trend again for AW15 in both the crease of the eye and at the bottom lash line. Prada, Marni and Georgio Armani all played on the contoured eye and fresh skin so if you are a of paler skin tone then go for a taupe and for darker skin tone chocolate or espresso shades.

I am so in love with the two toned lip of red and pink with the high shine skin and bronze eyes. It is an amazing combination. Add definition to your lips by taking another shade and applying into the centre of the lips.

The liner and smokey eye in black is back with a vengeance each season we see different takes and different colours but black eyes are definitely back.

I love the Dolce and Gabbana look created each season by Pat Mcgrath its classic and elegant. This time lips were either nude lip and subtle contouring or a stained pink lip and a flush on the cheek.

  1. I am so happy to see more ‘natural’ looks on the runway. Light makeup is so flattering. I was never a fan of heavy contouring.
