After spending time with Raine the Mac Pro Senior Artist for South Africa I fell in love with the new makeup that had just launched. If you haven’t seen the new collections the one item you need to get your hands on is the Mac Fruit A La La Palette. Firstly you will want it because the packaging is amazing and secondly you will see the shades and know it needs to be yours. Raine was sporting my absolute favourite shade Arriba a rose gold that has a gorgeous shimmer shade that almost looks wet when on. It was love at first sight.
The Fruit A La La Palette (R600) is a combination of bold orange and pinks with neutral shades for contouring. There are a few ways to work the palette depending on how bold you want to go. I went with my favourite shade over the whole lid up to the crease. Then on the bottom lash line to make Neve’s eyes really pop.The palette is a mostly matt palette with the amazing shimmer shade to make eveything come alive. Its definitely a summer palette and perfect if you feeling a little washed out. If you want to take the look further than I did in this look then you can work in Carnal Charm and fuschia Fury into the crease.
The Mac Fruit La La Palette consists of 6 shades:
Cocktai Black – a deep brown grey with pearl (satin)
Fuchsia Fury – a bright blue pink (satin)
Carnal Charm – a bright burnt orange red (matte)
Arriba! – a frosty rose (frost) – my favourite
Soleil, So Lovely – a dirty grey nude (matte)
Glamour Light – a warm beige (satin)
Check out the rest of the Fruity Juicy collection in store on line its really so very pretty. Seriously you will want to buy it all.
