An amazing week of shoots and new products and barely a moment to breath. So here is my highlights of the week all packed into one post for you.
1) The week started off with an amazing trend workshop with Michelle Lee from Mac if you didn’t catch my post then check it out here plus I am offereing a couple of products as a giveaway. The key to makeup this AW is beautiful skin with beautiful highlights, shimmery eyes, graphic eyes and earthy tones on the eyes. Watch this space for some trend video’s coming your way.
2) Earlier this week I did the Winter campaign for Poetry which will be out in a couple of months the brief was big wavy hair, highlighted dewy skin with a bronzey eye. The trick to the skin was the skincare and I mixed Mac Strobe cream, Revlon Skinlights and Nars sheer glow foundation and then I went over the key areas with Mac Lighstcapade. For the eyes I used my Mac neutral shades palette using the bronze shades.
3) After the mac workshop and seeing all the new products I hit Mac yesterday and bought me some goodies. I am most excited about the Studio eye gloss in lightly tauped its one of the key products for AW14 amazing on the eyes on its own or over a shadow, amazing as a highlight or added over a lippie. Going to be using this bad boy next week for my Elle beauty shoot.
4) Sadly I didn’t get a chance to film a Valentine’s inspired tutorial so I thought I would share this post from one of my fav beauty blogs byrdie.com with 30 valentine’s day makeup looks that doesn’t include the usual red lip so if you stuck on what look to do check out this post and hopefully you will be inspired.
Happy Valentine’s Day.
