My gorgeous new Huda Beauty Palette arrived last week perfect timing for the Pink Polo. I decided this year I was going all out with my make up and the palette. It has the perfect shades of pinks and the pigment shades. Paired with a pink matt lip and my pretty Mari and Me bright pink dress I was really happy with result.
The palette has a few neutral shades but the majority fall in the pink, red and plum shades and then 7 gorgeous pigment shades. For the best application the pigments blend in much better using your fingers. I used a combination of flamingo, bossy and maneater on the outer corners of my eyes and blended into the crease. For the sparkles I applied Rose Gold on the inner corners to the centre of my lids with my fingers. Then I went back in with flamingo to make sure the edges were neat. For the liner I used black truffle along my lash line using a small angle brush. Its really pigmented so the black comes out really black and makes a perfect liner. For my bottom lash line using a small pencil brush I applied both sandlewood and flamenco. To finish off the look I took a white eyeliner and applied into my waterline to make the pink pop and then lots of mascara.
The Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in so Hap’pink matched the eyes perfectly. It doesn’t budge but also doesn’t dry your lips out. Its the perfect shade of pink that matched both my eyes and dress. The Huda beauty Rose Gold palette is now available in SA and its definitely worth the purchase. You can get it from Makeup Bowtique which I found on instagram for R1150. So if you are deciding what you want for Christmas this is it.
