I am always on the look out for good foundations that I can recommend to others but are also affordable. We all love expensive products and who wouldn’t want a Chanel foundation, but when it comes to every day wear we all need a good realiable foundation that won’t break the bank and makes your skin look amazing. There are plenty of budget bases to choose from but I am really quite partial to the Revlon Photoready Airbrush Effect foundation it doesn’t break the bank and looks pretty good on.

revlon photoreadyAs you can see its got a pretty good coverage if you work it with a brush you get a medium coverage if you work it with your fingers it will be a more sheer to medium coverage depending on what you are going for. It blends in beautifully with a kabuki brush leaving no streaks and my compexion is totally evened out but still looks natural with my freckles coming through. Its not heavy on the skin amnd is still good to wear in the hot months.

Definitely worth a try if you haven’t seen this one before its on the slightly more expensive side of the budget brands at R279 but its great quality and will last you as there is no wasteage with the pump bottle. I like that its not shiny but still gives a healthy glow to the complexion so happy days for me. It has pretty good lasting power but if you have an oily complexion then get your primer on so that this one doesn’t slip off your face. If you on a night out and will be dancing then a primer will be your best friend and then spritz a makeup finish over so that its still on later in the night.

Have you tied the Revlon Photoready Airbrush Effect foundation yet?
