Sadly I didn’t get to attend the Body Shop launch but I did get a couple of products from their new range to test out. The Body Shop have launched a whole new Spa of the World Range from refining natural body scrubs, gorgeous body creams, luxury oils and firming body clay from the four corners of the world. The packaging is not like your usual Body Shop products its much more luxurious and the products I got to test are heavenly.
The range was created to transport the spa to your bathroom so that you can pamper yourself at home without breaking the bank and take some time out to just relax and feel good.
I got to test out the gorgeous African Ximenia Scrub (R275) it smells so good and leaves a subtle frangrance on the skin. The Ximenia Tree is known as the “tree of life” infused with a skin softening oil. What I love about the scrub is that its so gentle on application because I have experienced scrubs in a spa where I felt like my skin was being scratched and trust me its not enjoyable. My skin is left feeling so smooth and so amazing and makes the whole shower experience a whole load better.
The Japenese Camellia Cream (R320) is a soft velvet body moisturiser that makes the skin so soft, its not sticky like some creams can be and it literally melts into the skin. The Camellia flower is known to soften and moisturise plus it smells pretty amazing. I normally go for creams from Dove and Nivea because they aren’t fragrenced and leave my skin feeling pretty good but the Body Shop cream fragrance is so subtle that you barely notice it. Love it.
I am very keen to try some of the other products from the range especially the Polynesian Monoi radiance oil for body and hair because anything that says radiance is going to make me want to buy it. Check out the Body Shop Spa of the World range there are so many amazing products for a weekend pamper that’s cheaper than having to go to the spa and definitely a great way to spend a sunday morning.
