Every so often I love to share what’s in my makeup bag that I am currently trying out and this week its the budget makeup bag edit. Yes expensive makeup is of high quality, but there is amazing budget makeup out there too. So here are some goodies I wanted to share:
The Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation launches in September in SA, its light and blends easily into the skin. What I really like about the foundation is that it leaves skin looking really natural so your skin looks like skin. Its got a swirl formula packed with subtle skin luminizers that leave skin looking beautiful, brightened and radiant. Its a goody if your skin is looking a bit dull and needs a bit of a glow then this is a great one with ingredients such as Vitamin E, B and Glycerine to replenish the skin’s moisture. The only complaint I have is there are not enough shades I has to mix a lighter and darker to match my skin tone, there will be 8 shades retailing at R199.95
Bourjois have released their latest eye pencils the Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eyeliners. I got my hands on the chocolate shimmer shade Up and Down it glides on beautifully and is perfect to line the inner waterline and top lash line for that easy eye. Its supposed to be 100% tear and sweat proof which I have yet to test and is made with an extremely resistant formula enriched with vinyl promising not to budge all night. There are 7 beautiful shades available in this collection retailing at R99.95.
2 True is a new budget brand to Clicks I love this pretty nude gloss which is the Colour Drench in no 1, its perfect for light to medium skin tones, looks really pretty on and has an amazing high shine leaving lips looking luscious. You can never have enough nude glosses right?Revlon’s highlighter palette’s are very pretty and come in 3 shades peach, rose and bronze so can work for quite a few skin tones. Its a pretty highlighter that isn’t heavy when you apply and you can mix your shades up depending on what glow you looking for. Its light and leaves a subtle shimmer but you can build up by using a brush. This highlighter launches this month retailing at R185.
2 True has bought out the Limited Edition Denim Effect nail polish, as you all know I am obsessed with blue so of course its in the makeup bag. Its a blue shimmer shade that with just one coat applied really easily with no streaking and with a price tag of R34.99 you really can’t go wrong, once dry the polish has a matt finish.
