Smashbox is one of those brands that is constantly upping their game and bringing new products out all the time making it exciting for us makeup artists and for women that love makeup. Their latest product is the Smashbox 24HR CC spot corrector that will help you cover marks, scaring and blemishes on your face so easily leaving you a flawless complexion.

This bad boy concealer hits counters this week reatiling at R320 and even though the price tag seems a little high for some of you its an amazing concealer that makes application with the thin tip so easy to target the marks without moving your foundation. The key to makeup is to try make it last as long as possible so you don’t have to spend time throughout the day and constantly reapplying and touching up.

The great thing about Smashbox is that is a brand created for makeup artists so that when we are on set the makeup lasts throughout the day no matter what and looks amazing in front of the camera. The Smashbox 24HR CC Spot Concealer immediately corrects and hides the imperfections, I suffer from dark spots and previous scarring this concealer works beautifully for me. Thanks to the photoset polymers spots are camoflaged as they create a medical grade liquid bandage technology that adheres to the skin.

The concealer is waterproof, transfer proof plus sweat and humidity resistant so if you go out at night this concealer should hopefully last the distance and one I am going to be testing out this weekend. The best way to apply is apply a tiny amount to the area wait 5-10 seconds and then blend. You can either apply onto bare skin or after foundation. For best results I like to do both just to make sure that my compexion is totally flawless.

  1. I saw online that they have a spray type primer (Photo Finish Primer Water). I would love to try that bad boy! Great post as always.
