Its finally here the first store of Urban Decay in South Africa. Sadly I couldn’t make the press trip as I am overseas but I wanted to share with my readers the new gorgeous store in Joburg in Sandton City. My fellow bloggers luckily got to get a sneaky look before the store opened on 9th July and I can’t wait to get myself there when I am next in the city. What I am so happy about is every product available overseas (apart from the Gwen Stephani palette)is in this store unlike some of the other brands if you want something you can get your hands on it.
If you don’t know anything about the brand its a cult makeup brand loved by makeup artists and makeup addicts out there. Amazing quality and shades for all skin tones whether its an eyeshadow, lipstick or eyeliner. Obvioulsy there are cult products out of the range with the naked palettes being one of the top sellers. I am currently loving the Naked Palette 3 and it sits in my pro kit for shoots. I am definitely going to get my hands on some of these amazing shades especially the cobalt blues my all time favourite shade.
The 24/7 Glide On Eyeliners are by far one of my favourites they glide on beautifully, last the distance and come in a hole range of colours and I love love love the bright shades to add a pop of colour to your makeup look and make it really modern.
The Naked foundation and concealers are truly beautiful products. The foundation makes skin look like skin but makes your complexion look amazing and the concelaers are all that and more loved by loads of celebrity makeup artists.
There are lippies galore from gloss to matte in all shades for all skin tones plus over 100 lip liners. I will definitely be filming a tutorial next week using some of my favourite products from the range so watch this space.
Urban Decay will be coming on line and to Cape Town but we don’t know time frames yet so will definitely keep you posted. Click here for a whole load of looks created by Urban Decay and which products to use to create them and thir you tube channel will help inspire and show you how to work the makeup.
