I am busy doing an amazing makeup course with Val Garland one of the rock star makeup artists and this week we have been focusing on our pro kits. It got me to thinking what are the key items I can't live without and its boiled down to items that really have multiple uses and allow you to be a bit creative.
In the Elle trend beauty shoot I did for the May issue I was asked by the Elle team to talk through how to create the trend gloss eye for this autumn/winter. Its not an every day look but it can look really beautiful to add an extra dimension to your makeup.
If you haven't spotted it already freckles are in big time, so if you have freckles and are not a fan of them embrace them because freckles are beautiful. In the recent Mac SS15 trend workshop Michelle-Lee touched on the freckle trend in the No Makeup makeup trend where freckles were enhanced or created.
Another week of beauty launches, new products and shoots. Each week I love to share the highlights of my week and what I have been loving or a specific look I have created. So here it is my week packed into one post:
A couple of weeks ago I attended the La Prarie launch for their latest all singing all dancing serum that promises results in just 2 weeks. We got to hear what this latest technology is all about and take away a little sample to see what results happens in 2 weeks plus a couple more La Prarie goodies. The La Prarie Rapid Response Booster is pricey as all their products are because of the quality of ingredients and beautiful packing but its La Prarie right?
The perfect way to brighten up the complexion is with pops of colour and thanks to the amazing Bobbi Brown team I got an amazing goodie bag with some perfect items to add a healthy glow and freshen up my tired complexion. Its all about the pinks with Bobbi Brown with the pretty Brightening Brick in pastel pink, the hot berry Art Stick and then neon pink Creamy Lip Colour.
