Its the last month of the year with 2016 literally around the corner, I shared some of my beauty favs and highlights for Shahnaz Loves Beauty but there are a still a few more that I have loved this month. Its really been a lot about skincare for me this month as since holidays have started I am wearing minimal makeup and working my tan which means my skin needs more love than usual.
Another year has flown by and its almost 2016 which is going to be an amaing year with my wediing renewal and 40th birthday coming up. This year has been amazing year of work and new beauty plus a new look and feel for my blog Shahnaz Loves Beauty which I personally love.
Its that time of the year when its lots of eating out and being with friends and family. Its still weird to have a hot Christmas each year so my Christmas makeup is always more summery than if I was in England. So the look I am planning for Christmas lunch will be a fresh face, lots of mascara and a pop on the lips.
Looking back on 2015 its been another great year with some amazing shoots, amazing photographers and amaszing models. My biggest highlight was getting a cover for Elle working with one of my favourite photographers Daniella Midenge with the gorgeous model Milan Dixon.
A couple weeks ago I met with one of the Clarins girls at the V&A Edgars stores to learn a little more about their foundations and which one would work for me. I love a dewy foundation and because my skin is in pretty good condition I needed a foundation that would give me some coverage but that wasn't full coverage and could let my skin breath. The conlusion Clarins Skin Illusion foundation was perfect for me plus the Eclat Minute Instant Light Perfector too add natural highlights where needed on the face.
Its that time of the year where there are loads of parties whether its work, social or you are already planning for New Years Eve, your makeup look is just as important as your outfit. So if you want to try something new or need a little inspiration then here are 4 looks that I came across that I am totally loving.
The latest instalment from the French skincare brand is the Sampar Crazy Cream its all about hydration and makeup combined. If you are looking for a moisturiser that can add a tan without applying any actual makeup then this one could be for you. A lot of women aren't fans of wearing base or don't like a BB or a CC at all which makes the crazy cream a perfect alternative.
We all know I love Smashbox as a makeup brand and its definitely a brand that I have in my pro kit and has never failed me on a shoot. The Liquid Halo foundation was always one of my favourite's but now with the new Smashbox BB waters out I definitely think I am going to go buy myself all the shades and add this to my kit.
I love any product that can add some glow to the complexion and face mists is the perfect way to quickly add a glow or hydrate your skin plus put some life back to your foundation throughout the day. As you can see I have quite a few in my stash plus a few more lying around including the Beauty Fix mist which is my current fav.
In my shoot yesterday for MRP Fashionn one of the looks was this gorgeous cat eye with a stained red/orange lip. My model Shannon had amazing skin so lucky for me it was pretty easy to get that gorgeous glow. While I was doing the look I thought it would be perfect to share with all of you this look as a gorgeous night out look.
