I wanted to chat about a few of my favourite Chanel beauty products today especially for those thinking of splurging but not sure what to get. Of course their eyeshadows are lovely and basically everything Chanel is lovely but here is a little selection. I have selected mostly makeup items but also with one skincare product too from the Hydra Beauty range. For me makeup is all about good skin that's contoured and glowing so that's why I have chosen the makeup items in this post. Chanel have quite a few foundations to choose from and it can get confusing what to go for. Here I have gone for a dewy one but their latest matt foundation is also amazing. It really depends on what look you are going for.
If you have een following me since last year you will know I have been on the Environ journey. Even though I was initially invited to come do a skin analysis, try a facial and get some free goodies I have kept going back. I really believe in investing in my skin. So when I was asked so I want to test the new Environ Focus Care Radiance + range for pigmentation and radiance I was like YES PLEASE. The corner stone of the brand is Vitamin A with a whole load of add ons and step ups which I love. This range I can add in with what I am currently using from Environ, plus a few other products too. I take my skin seriously expecially as I am now in my 40's. The key for me is to have radiant glowing hydrated skin and reduce my pigmentation.
(SPONSORED POST) I have been busy testing the new Clicks Expert Skincare Range on myself and my kids. I don't often include my kids as I focus on beauty for myself but its been fun they have loved being part of it. I have been sharing bits and pieces on insta stories and over the weekend my kids will be sharing what they thought. The range focuses on face, body and kids body products for sensitive skin that really works for the whole family. My daughter has struggled with eczema just like me so the bath products have been great for her. Everything in the rangefragrance free plus sulphate and paraben free so if you have really sensitive skin this may be one to try out. When struggling with sensitive skin the key thing to look for is fragrance free or fast absorbing, that don't strip the skin of its natural oils. Thats what the Clicks Expert Range is all about. The range features moisturising face and body creams, lotions and washes that are all gentle on the skin.
I have been super impressed with the drugstore brand Revolution Makeup especially with their eyeshadow palettes and highlighters. I got my hands on the UK blogger Revolution Makeup Soph X palette and wanted to do an every day look. This palette is a mix of matt and metallic with a few really bold shades. What I love about the palette is you can really work an every day look as well as bump it up when you need.
To say I love the new Ren Radiance Daily Glow Vitamin C Gel Cream is an understatement. As soon as it landed on my desk this one by passed other products due for testing and its now in my personal skincare stash. Firstly anthing that smells like citrus I am in its one of my favourite scents. I love citrus as it just instanly soothes me. Plus anything Ren skincare is always a goodie. The moisturiser couldn't have arrived at a better time as my skin always needs an extra boost in winter.
I was asked by Superbalist to put a wish list and share them with all my followers. I shop quite a bit on this site because they have great trainer and sandal selections. Plus they now stock one of my fav swimwear brands Beach Cult. When it comes to my wardrobe there are a few staple items that I always have and am always adding in. In this post I chat about my Superbalist wish list which is basically my top 5.
The Croatian Skincare brand Nikel launched in SA and I got the chance to test out a couple of their skincare products. I am a lover of all things skincare so trying anything new always makes me super happy. The brand prides itself on having innovative formulas that include plant extracts and essential oils and caters for all skin types. The creator of the brand created the Nikel range so as to give the skin what it needs and wants. Plus the ingredients are good for the inside as well as the outside. I love that Nikel is a natural skincare product, uses natural preservatives, cruelty free but also feels luxurious at the same time. Its hard for me to give a full view of the brand as I only tested out the cleanser and moisturiser but I can say I loved the products I got my hands on. The brand pretty much focuses on dehydrated, dry and mature skin so if you are looking for something new this may be one you want to check out.
To say I love the Pat Mcgrath makeup is an under statement but boy is it expensive. The Pat Macgrath Bronze Seduction palette is the most expensive palette I have ever bought but I love it. Of course being the most famous makeup artist her palette's weren't going to be cheap. What I can say is that the packaging is beautiful and the pigment of the eye shadows are gorgous quality and will definitey go a long way. In this post I did a quick easy bronze eye and finished it off with a contoured and highlighted complexion.
