The last two weeks I have literaly painted every single AW14 makeup trend between shooting Grazia dn Elle beauty I have done about 25 trend looks which got me to thinking about creating one of them for you guys on a budget. Gosh is one brand that is always current with the colours and I just love the quality and texture and the best thing of all is you won’t break the bank.
The trends I love is the focus on the bottom lash line with a subtle colour on the top lash line its more of an undone smokey seen at Topshop Unique with just smudging a kohl eyeliner. Alternatively you have the Burberry inspired chocolate smokey eye its an easy every day look and chocolate is so wearable on a lot of skin tones.
You can play around with chocolate shades, black liner and lashings of mascara. I have the Gosh mono eyeshadows in 003 brown and 010 light brown which retail at R24.95, the ultimate eyeliner black in black retailing at R 110 and the growth mascara retailing at R149 to create the look.
First up wash the lid with the light brown eye shadow shade all the way up to the crease, if you want to make it more intense like the burberry look then you can take all the way to the brow bone which I did. Take the brown shadow and apply to the bottom lash line to create a more intense look and then apply onto the lid up to the crease. Take the eyeliner and apply to top and bottom waterline and then finish off with lashings of mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
Here are a some of the AW14 trends but you really can interpret the look to what suits you.
