In my shoot yesterday for MRP Fashionn one of the looks was this gorgeous cat eye with a stained red/orange lip. My model Shannon had amazing skin so lucky for me it was pretty easy to get that gorgeous glow. While I was doing the look I thought it would be perfect to share with all of you this look as a gorgeous night out look.
The stained lip isn’t too bold and if you are keen to try a brighter lip then a stain is a great way to go. I used the Tomatoh from the Mac Trend Forecast Spring 16 lip is a perfect colour for that stained lip. Take your finger and press the lipstick into the lips for that stained effect and doesn’t look like you have made too much of an effort.
The cat eye or winged eye is always a fav of mine, create a think angle line pulling upwards and outwards and then create a triangle effect back down and fill in and then work along the lash line with a thin liner brush, for this look I used my amazing Zoeva fine liner brush to create the shape it literally makes it so much easier due to the angle of the brush. Instead of using my go to the Mac fluidline in blacktrack I went with the Bobbi Brown long wear gel eyeliner.
As both the lip and eyes have something going on I kept the cheeks really light and just applied a cream peach blush with my fingers just to add a touch of colour but not to take away from the makeup.
Keep skin light make sure to hydrate your skin before applying any makeup and go for a light base like a BB cream or a light liquid foundation to keep skin looking fresh.
