I have been super impressed with the drugstore brand Revolution Makeup especially with their eyeshadow palettes and highlighters. I got my hands on the UK blogger Revolution Makeup Soph X palette and wanted to do an every day look. This palette is a mix of matt and metallic with a few really bold shades. What I love about the palette is you can really work an every day look as well as bump it up when you need.
For the crease I used the transition shade Cuppa Tea this creates the shape of the eye and really contours beautifully. I worked this shade all along the crease and onto the outer corners of the eye, plus the bottom lash line.
For the pop I took the metallic shade Grow Old its a beautiful bronze that really compliments my eyes.
Apply with a flat brush like I did here or you can go straight in with fingers.
For my brows and inner corners of my eye I used Fairy Lights a pretty champagne shimmer shade. This really makes those key areas pop and just makes the eyes look more wide awake.
To finish off the look I used The Body Shop’s latest mascara Happy Go Lash. It gives great volume to my lashes without clumping plus it has such pretty packaging.
For highlighter I went glossy with the Chanel Le Baume Essentiel for a really natural glow. Its like a highlighting balm that so super glossy.
I love to apply with my fingers and pat into the skin so as not to disturb the foundation.
For my cheeks I wanted as pretty peach flush to compliment the eyes. I applied my gorgeous Tarte Amazonian clay 12 hour blush in Glisten. Blush for me is the perfect way to add a pop of colour to the face. When your face is feeling a bit pastey a blush and lipstick can reallky make a difference.
For the lips I went with red because bronze eyes and red lips it just works. Here I used the Chanel Rouge Allure Ink in Libere. But you can go in with any red shade I just grabbed my chanel lippie for this one.
If you haven’t checked out the Soph X palette head on over to Clicks on line or selected Clicks stores. Its super affordable and great if you don’t want to break the bank and look pretty.
I will definitely be doing some insta videos this week and featuring the palette and some oter goodies I got. So please head on over to my Shahnaz loves Beauty insta page.
