The last 2 days on the set for Marie Claire SA was so much fun with a 25 girls with 2 makeup artists and 2 hairstylists being part of this shoot that will feature in the March 2015 issue so meant painting a lot of faces . The vibe of the shoot was all about beautiful girls with fresh looking skin, amazing coats from every designer like Dolce and Gabbana and Burberry and so many more.
I got to catch up with the first model of the day the lovely Sam Laskey pic down below and paint her beautiful face at the same time. The key foundation of the 2 day shoot was the Mac Mineralise Moisture Foundation for the paler skin models you can see Sam’s skin looks amazing and dewy but not shiney. I literally prepped skin with Dermalogica, applied foundaton and then blended concealer to hide any blemishes and dark circles. Brows were filled, a touch of mascara on the lashes, highlighting on the top of the cheek bone with Mac Lightscapade, a subtle contour and a nude lip.
Day 2 was a lot more darker skin girls so of course I used by trusty Bobbi Brown stick foundation for the skin and contouring and a deep bronze shimmer for highlighting. The lips were nude but with a darker brown shade from my Mac Modern Browns Lip Palette. You can see Rachel below looks ridicuously beautiful.
It was all about natural looking skin and basically enhancing the girls features but looking like they weren’t really wearing anything.
