I finally got to film my first fashion TV commercial for SA’s online store Superbalist. The store has been knopwn previously for being much more about the youth but with their new campaign that just launched they are branching out to make it more fashion targeting loads more people. I was so excited to be able to get involved with the TV commercial for the girls and boys. I can’t take all the credit for the makeup but I was part of a great team of artists. So impressed with their new clothes that are being launched definitely worth checking out.

In the latest issue of Edgars Club magazine features my hair and makeup work for a sports inspired fashion editorial. Its all about how to work the trend whether you want to dress it up a bit or keep it casual. Investing in a cool pair of trainers that makes your outfit pop is definitely a key trend here. Braids or sleek ponies is definitely how your hair should be with gorgeous glowing skin.

For almost the last year I have been dreaming of getting my hands on some rose gold hangers. Especially after following some overseas bloggers and seeing how gorgeous their clothes looked with the pretty hangers. I had to some how get my hands on some. I moved into my new home last year and have been slowing getting all my pieces together. However whenever I look at all my pretty clothes hanging I just don’t feel quite so happy. Until I discovered the Lovilee hangers that to my absolute happiness had rose gold hangers!!!

When it comes to shopping for myself I am literally obsessed with print dresses. My wardrobe consists of prints, jeans and so many tops. As soon as I step into Zara or an H&M my eyes scan out those prints. Yes I have quite a few of the LBD when it comes to going out at night. But for my every day wear a print dress it has to be. I bought this Zara dress last week after seeing it a few times I decided to try it on. Well you can guess it just had to come home with me.

My latest editorial with Marie Claire is all about taking the Tuxedo and breaking it down. Its all about how to wear the fabric of the season and mixing pieces to fancy up your work wear. I kept makeup really simple to match the structured pieces of the clothes. The models eyes were contoured with a beautiful shimmer on the lids, brows were bold and skin dewy. You can add a lip as it would work perfectly with the strong pieces but for this shoot we kept it nude so it was more feminine.

I am not of fan to leaving my blog quiet over the festive season but I did take a few days off to eat and be merry. Definitely a well deserved break and not having to turn on my computer was pretty nice. So today is a short post but I wanted to share my Chistmas gifts from my gorgeous husband Rob. I gave him a list this year and he pretty much got me everything I wanted. He even hit Zara right under my nose and hid the gift amongst the other shopping so a well done to him. If you haven’t hit the shops as of yesterday then get yourself down there as the sales are happening. Boxing Day means sales which is annoying but if you got given some cash then go treat yourself.

I have been working non stop the last month and have literaly not stepped near a shop. So of course on my one day off I hot the shops to Christmas shop and to treat myself just a little. Its pretty impossible for me not to shop for myself when I hit the mall. Zara and H&M are always ones that I will hit and on my way to lunch Aldo always catches my eye. My lovely dad kindly sent me some money plus after working so hard I felt I deserved a treat. As its almost the festive I decided to share my pre christmas shopping haul with all my readers.

With Christmas literally around the corner its got me thinking what I am wishing for. Its definitely a show kind of time that everything I want is either a sandal or some cool trainers. Superbalist is that one stop shop that makes it so easy and I am lusting after some of their sandals. My husband has already been given an early request list with some of the addidas trainers.   However after doing a big over haul of my wadrobe I somehow feel I need some more sandals. With it being almost summer and lovely sunny days every day I need some new foot wear I think. So here is my Superbalist sandals lust list:

My latest work is out now for Glamour South Africa is out now the Out Of Africa editorial with 4 models showing us how prints should be worn. The look for the shoot was really simple as the clothes are so bold but its a beautiful every day makeup look. The key to this look is beautiful skin and enhancing eyes, brows, cheeks and lips that just simply looks stunning.

Back In June I went with the MRP team to shoot their new pieces for this Spring 2016 in the crazy town of Barrydale. I must admits there were some really cool pieces that I definitely will be purchasing for myself and at those prices you really can’t go wrong. If you haven’t checked out the sneakers that light up you (R399) better getting shopping quick as I have a feeling these bad boys will be sold out pretty quick. The collection is fun and young with lots of prints, pretty dresses and cool jackets. The vibe for the makeup that goes with these clothes is fresh with a pop of a red lip thrown in or a pretty coral and a cat eye if you feeling bold.
