Another week filled with beauty, shoots, new products and amazing new products that I have purchased myself for my kit. As Always each week I share my highlights and what I have loved at the end of the week:
Bourjois is definitely one of my favourite drugstore brands and I am always pretty excited to see what they are bringing out. I love their Healthy Mix foundation its definitely right up there for me so when the new Bourjois Air Mat foundation landed on my desk last week I was pretty excited to try. It seems its a big trend at the moment whether its a high end or drugstore brand matt seems to be a key focus. As well as the new foundation launch we see new shades and textures from the iconic Little Round Pot eyeshadows perfect for day and night.
Another week filled with fav products, new products, shoots and new clothes. As always I share my highlights of the week and my go to products for shoots and products I can’t wait to test out:
Skincare is a massive part of my beauty regime I always say you can’t get your makeup looking right if your skin isn’t right and the best way to have an amazing complexion is to invest in your serums. I have been busy tasting the Lancome Advanced Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate (R788) which has made complexion feel amazing and is a goodie for your skin as you get older.
I love this skincare brand every time I try a new product out I am never disappointed. Their latest product to launch is the amazing Filorga Nutri-Filler Regenerating anti-ageing balm (R915) that literally makes your skin feel amazing.
I love a gloss whether its a high shine or a matt finish, the candy gloss makes lips look amazing and the matt gloss looks super cool. If I had the choice I normally go for a matt finish purely because I think its more modern but that’s just a personal choice. L’oreal Infallible Mega Gloss in Candy and Matt launch this spring (R149.95) and I got my hands on 3 of them to have a play around with and share what I think.
I do love a cream shadow especially when its a long wearing one and you can just apply and go, making your smokey eye an easy one with minimal fuss. I luckily got my hands on two of the Max Factor excess shimmer cream shadows the shades Copper and Onyx and I have to say I really like them.
Lancome have done it again with an amazing new mascara that launches in SA in July, its the Lancome Hypnose volume-a-porter mascara. Last year Lancome launched the Grandiose mascara which is amazing but I am really loving this one. It definitely does what it says giving some serious volume and trust me I need all the volume I can get.
I love makeup brushes I seriously can never get enough. I have had my eye on the Zoeva rose gold eye brush set for some time especially after reading great views from some of the UK bloggers I follow. So I finally ordered the eye set and I tell you they are beautiful. Not only do they come in this gorgeous leather pouch but they look and feel amazing.
I am always on the look out for products that make applying makeup easier, especially when I am recommending to friends that need something quick and easy. Well look no further the Nude Stix are here. Nude Stixs were created for every day life natural barely there makeup.
