Its a new season and that means new makeup and times to change things up. Being a 90's girl myself I love that the 90's makeup trend is back and its so easy. The key to the look is the lip and the eyes. I kept my take on the look really simple with the focus on the lips using the Mac Paramount Satin Lipstick. I kept eyes simple with a wash of colour and tanned up my skin and added the glow I love.
Intoducing one of my new favs the Chanel Ultra Le Teint Velvet Blurring Smooth Effect Foundation SPF 15. Its the latest in their foundation offering and its gorgeous of course. The origional foundation was the Perfection Lumiere Velvet but its made a comback with a new name and finish. Am waiting to get my hands on my shade so sadly I can't show you what it looks like on me. I did get to test it out on one of my friends and its truly beautiful on. As it says on the bottle it blurs and smooths the complexion leaving skin looking flawless and radiant. Love it.

Its super quick and easy and lasts up 6 weeks and its priced pretty well.

Its a super affordable makeup brand which will literally send you running to Clicks to get your hands on some of the bad boy palettes, highlighters and amazing blushes. Plus for all you vegan makeup fans out there the brand is vegan and cruelty free. Now I haven't tried all their products but I did put one of the eye shadow palettes and highlighter palettes to the test. Super impressed with the pigmentation and how it looks on me. As you can see the colours are super pretty and I am glowing like a princess.
I got to test out the latest Avon True Colour Flawless Liquid Foundation that really is a great
I literally searched all of London last year for a cool denim jacket it was like finding a neddle in a hay stack. This year embelished denim jackets are in and they are really affordable. I try each week and post something on fashion because even though I love all things beauty I also am so in love with fashion. Being 42 means trends are repeating themselves and yes 20 years on velvet is back in a big way. So I thought lets write about the embellished denim jacket and velvet trend in one post. Purely because I have purchased both the coolest denim jacket and gorgeous velvet trousers.
If you're looking for a volume mascara that will make your lashes go wow then the Lancome Big Monsieur Mascara is the one for you. It gives great volume to lashes that are in desperate need and totally open up your eyes. If its one thing that I never leave home without is mascara. I suffer from barely there lashes that need a serious pick me up and this one is the business. I have been testing the mascara on myself as well as models and beacuse Shannon (model above) looks better in pics than I do I thought I would use her image instead of mine.
My recent shoot for MRP accseeories shoot I needed to add a little pop to the makeup. We all know that MRP is a youthful brand where the models have a fresh face and never too much makeup going on. The easiest way to add a pop of colour is normally eyes, cheeks or lips. When it comes to the darker skintones a pop of colour liner really works a treat. Blue eyeliner or anything blue for the eyes has always been a favourite of mine. And guess what the drugstore brands are catching on giving us some beautiful shades and textures. So here are a few favourite blue drugstore eyeliners that I wanted to share:
