Now I have never been one for a gladiator sandal I always found they just didn't look right on me until MRP bought some goodies out and I found a pair for me. I have been shooting with the local South African brand recently and I have to say I am impressed with some of the pieces they have bought out and have definitely had my eye on the sandals.
The 70's trend is here in a big way and even though I am not a massive fan of it my top from Zara has a little bit of a 70's feel but paired with jeans and sandals it really works. I love to always mix a little bit of casual with smart and a bag can always lift an outfit. I am a massive fan of nueutral shades for shoes and a bag to work in with the outfit and the Michael Kors bag adds some elegance to the look. The jeans area my first ever high waisters they make me feel slimmer than I am and they are unbelievably comfortable. This look was for a lunch date with my husband so I added some earrings to complete the look.
Tomorrow I am off to the Citreon Pink Polo event at Val De Vie for breast cancer awareness. The theme of the day is either pink or white so in honour of cancer awareness I am going for bright pink. My dress is one a got a while back from Mari and Me and my makeup will be bright lips and a subtle smokey on the eye.
This week I decided I desperatly needed to update my sportswear, I am not a fan of spending my cash on sports wear I am much more a shop till you drop on clothes kind of girl. However with H&M opening and their great prices I decided to spend some of my cash on some sport clothes.
Yay the moment we have all been waiting for is finally here the amazing H&M store launched their VIP event at the V&A waterfront last night where we got to shop till we drop and get 20% off. Thank you very much. The official opening is tomorrow the 17th Oct but I was lucky enough to get invited to the event and of course I went a bit nuts on the shopping front.
Its been a while since I posted anything fashion but I wanted to share with you the amazing Seafolly swimwear and what I spurlged out this week for my holiday next week. For those of you who haven't heard of the brand its an Aussie swimwear brand that has been in SA a while but recently opened their flagship store at the V&A Waterfront. I headed that way earlier this week looking for some bikini's for Ibiza and got a little carried away.
Its been a while since did a fashion post but just before I flew for holiday I manage to squeeze in a quick shoot with photographer Niquita. This look is all about the staple white shirt that every girl should have in their wadrobe whether its for work, or to add with a pair of print pants or even a pair of jeans its one of those items that will always be in fashion.
In this post I really wanted to share my new shorts and boots and really how to take the shorts you bought when the weather was warmer and still keep wearing them through Autumn and Winter. You can pair shorts with heels to dress it up but for the every day long black boots are perfect.
