If you haven’t checked out thew latest Chanel Travel Diary Makeup Collection you are seriously missing out. I am so excited to share that Chanel will be spponsoring their makeup collections for my pro kit so that’s big news in itself. The key element of the collection is the Palette Essential which is a cream highlighter, concealer and blusher all in one. Plus am totally loving the correctors and the nude lippie that looked so amazing on the model. I didn’t play with the whole collection for the Tamara Cherie campaign shoot but you get the idea here. The products are so beautiful and everything just melts seamlessly in the skin.
The Chanel Palette Essential (R1080) comes in 3 shades and its perfect because you can pop this compact into your bag. The concealer is just gorgeous its creamy and gives that gorgeous dewy effect under the eyes. Plus gives a wide wake fresh look. The highlighter has a subtle shimmer that really looks beautiful and so natural. Definitely great for the no makeup makeup vide. Sadly I haven’t played with the blusher yet as for the shoot I needed a peach flush. Of course I used one of chanel’s amazing blushers that has the right amount of shimmer to really create the perfect cheek.
For the eyes in the shoot I used the palette second palette Road Movie you see below. I blended in the the nude taupe shades and then added some gloss or the wet effect. There are two 4 Ombres eye shadow palettes (R920) both are gorgeous the City Lights palette is more for your every day wear. Where as Road Movie is much bolder with green shades perfect for a night out. The Ombre Premiere (R575) are both beautiful shades I got my hands on the gold/brown shade its gorgeous.
I love love love the two new nail shades Le Vernis in Horizon Line and New Dawn (R450). For the shoot I went with the New Dawn shade that has a lilac feel to it. The Shade is my new favourite and its definitely one I keep reaching for.
For the lips I kept the whole feel nude I love the Rouge Coco in Daylight (R610) its that perfect nude that looks so pretty on. There is a selection of lip shades from the collection that I will definitely be sharing with you but this one is really a goodie.
The foundation brush its just heavenly its not part of the collection but Sarah from prestige cosmetics kindly sent the brush for me to play with. The Tamara Cherie Campaign will be out next week so will definitely be sharing all the looks and chatting a little bit more about Chanel.
