The Chanel Ultra Teint All Day Comfort Flawless Finish Foundation
Introducing the new gorgeous Chanel Ultra Teint All Day Comfort Flawless Finish Foundation that landed on my desk. It couldn’t have come at a better time because I was actually looking for a new foundation for myself. When you have a Chanel foundation on your face well you just feel amazing really. In this post I chat about the new foundation plus I have put together a look with some Chanel products. The finished look is super simple but really pretty with gorgeous glowing skin.
First impressions of the Chanel Ultra Teint All Day Comfort Flawless Finish Foundation (R925) I absolutely love it. Even though the shade B40 is slightly lighter than my currect skin tone I warmed it up with some Chanel bronzer. It literally melts into my skin giving such great coverage and totally evens my skin tone out. With my complexion I have some pigmentation and lots of freckles but after applying you can barely see it. The foundation is so comfortable, lightweight, has amazing coverage plus a satin finish. Even though its matte it doesn’t dry out the skin and still gives my complexion a glow. Remember a good skincare routine is so key.
There are 30 shades of the foundation which is amazing so there is something for pretty much every skintone. Luckliy I got 4 shades so I can add to my pro kit while keeping one for myself.
The Key Features:
The foundation has a light diffusing complex that creates natural luminosity, with the absorbent powders that give a perfect matte finish, the Perfect Skin Complex resists water, heat and humidity, enriched with a silicone soft focus that corrects and illuminates, plus with a new technology developed that gives beautiful coverage and a radiant skin tone.
The Chanel Look:
I applied the foundation with my favourite Chanel foundation brush. I like to work from the centre of my face and then blend out with the brush. The centre of your face is where most of the product is needed.
For under the eyes and any where there is redness like around the nose I used the Chanel Palette Essential in Beige Medium which has a concealer, highlighter and blush all in cream form. The texture of this palette is truly gorgeous and so lightweight. The concealer is illuminating so the under eye area looks super hydrated.
For highlighting I actually applied with my fingers on the top of my cheek bones, bridge of my nose and my cupids bow.
For contouring and warming up my complexion I used an oldie bronzer from Chanel, an alternative is the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Powder.
For the cheeks I applied the blush to my cheeks a little goes a long way. Again I applied with my fingers to the apples of my cheeks.
Just a few touch ups to make sure that all my foundation is blended in beautifully. Its definitely going into my top 5 foundations. I love love love it.
Et voila the finished look my skin looks super healthy and has a beautiful glow. My skin is totally evened out and really does look flawless. I know its pricey but its defintely an investment.
