This really is a month of lots of makeup launches and so much makeup to play with so you can say I am like a kid in a candy store. This month Clarins launches their new makeup the Garden Escape collection inspired by the garden with lots of pretty colours to give a really fresh looking complexion.
The Blush prodige in sweet rose (R360) is a new shade and really gives the illusion of fresh looking cheeks and adding a pop of colour to give a really healthy looking complexion. A blush is always a great way to add definition to your makeup especially if you aren’t going for anything on the eyes. The Instant Light perfector balms (R250) were created due to the amazing success of the instant lip perfectors with that success Clarins has now introduced these ultra hydrating balms. Enriched with extracts of wild mango and shea they feel amazing on with pretty shades to brighten up your face due to the gorgeous shine.
The Joli Rouge lipsticks (R250) have a shimmer effect that really looks very pretty on and makes the whole makeup look very fresh. There are 2 in the collection I got the rose petal shade which is the darker pink but there is a slightely lighter shade. The Instant rich light lip comfort oils (R250) are amazing and smell so good, I got the honey oil which makes you want to eat it but a great product to seriuosly condition lips as its rich in active plant ingredients. For my makeup look I used the new clarins everlasting foundation + as my base, I took the pinks and taupe shade for my eyes as I was going for a more subtle day time look. The green shades woud be great wet for a pop for an evening look. I applied a Clarins mascara but there is the wonder perfect mascara in the new collection (R265). For the cheeks you can see how pretty the blush looks making my whole complexion seem so much brighter and then finished the look with the Joli rouge lipstick in rose petal.Really love the Clarins garden escape makeup collection its so fresh and will definitely be a goodie when the weather changes here to give life to your face. There is the Instant light brush on perfector (R315) that I didn’t get my hands on but will definitely go and try, it brightens and lightens the complexion and would be perfect for when I am looking a bit pastey.
