So we have come to the end of the year and each month I have shared my essential products I am currently loving kind of like what is in my make up bag for the month and also certain products I seem to reach for when I am on set. So here is the list:
Chanel Fresh Effect Stylo Eyeshadow in Blackstream: Love all things Chanel as you all know. I got this eyeshadow pen a while back and I absolutely love it. It has a shimmer and is absolutely perfect for those party nights over the holidays and is so easy to use to create that sultry sexy smokey eye. Apply straight onto the lid with the pen up to the crease and then blend in the crease to soften the edges then take the pen and apply again on the top lash line to create definition and then apply on the bottom lash line half way and then blend in. Love these pens.
Chanel Les Ombres Eyeshadow Quad no 33 Prelude: A great palette to create a smokey eye, there are a lot of Les Ombres palettes with all different shades. This palette is a mixture of greys and pearly shades and so beautiful in creating an alternative modern smokey eye plus the quality of the shadows are beautiful and so easy to blend if you have the right blending brush.
Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Moisturising Lipstick Electric Pink: Love love love this lipsticks. I got sent 3 shades this amazing bright pink, a beautiful red and a nude shade. I absoloutely adore the colours and the texture. They are so hydrating on the lips and highly pigmented and the packaging is gorgeous. I am constantly being blown away by the quality of Elizabeth Arden make up. The pink lipstick is so on trend right now and paired with a fresh contoured face you really can’t go wrong.
Lancome Teint Vissonaire Skin perfecting Makeup Duo : This foundation/concealer launches in SA in February 14 and I was so lucky to get the opportunity to test this foundation and concealer out. Love the quality and finish. The skin is left beautiful, glowing and dewy without looking sweaty. I am defenitely going to be adding this duo to my pro kit. Check out my Lancome post to see more on the product.
Smashbox Hydrating Primer: This brand is really known for its primers and now have 13 in their range. I recently added this primer to my kit. Its great for the darker skin girls whose skin is slightly oily and is great for prepping skin before foundation is applied and leaves skin glowing and ensures foundation lasts longer.
Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow: I am big on highlighting and glowing skin as it really enhances the face and just looks so beautiful. I have been using this highlighter a lot this month to really get the skin to glow. Apply with finger tips before foundation but make sure you have prepped skin first with either a moisuriser or primer. Love the Charlotte Tilbury make up line.
Mac Clear Gloss: I always love a gloss eye on set and recently I have done a few. This gloss is so versitile from just applying onto lips, mixing with a lipstick, applying to the cheek bones to create a highlight and glossing the eye after you have applied either a powder shadow or a long wearing cream eyeshadow to really make your eyes pop. A key staple in my pro kit.
Hope you enjoyed my post. x
