This coming season is all about primary bold colours to take your makeup to the next level. in this shoot I did for Elle magazine SA beauty editorial it was all about ways to wear colours to make a dramatic statement and be bang on trend.

Blue is one of those shades that comes back again and again. This season is the bright turquoise blue that is a big thing. Take a liner or shadow across the crease of the lids its an amazing way to add a pop to your makeup.elle beauty 3

A bold matt blurred red lip is a great way to wear a primary colour and stand out of the crowd. Finish off the look with clumped lashes and a fresh face so as not to take away from lips. Make sure you get a red shade that suits your complexion. To make it really modern add a matt red eyeshadow and blur the edges with a blending brush.elle beauty 5

Yellow is one of those shades people don’t want to touch when it comes to applying makeup but done the right way it can look amazing. Its definitely a shade you can’t apply on your lids but applied to the bottom lash line it looks amazing. To take it that much further take a brow brush and take a cream yellow shadow and apply through your brows.elle beauty 3

Emerald green is a great shade when it comes to primary colours and to make it really modern there are ways to apply your liner that really stand out. In this look I took a green liner pencil and applied along the bottom lash line and winging it out. Keep the brows natural, lips nude and the complexion fresh to wear this look.
