hydrated with Avene skincare

If you looking to get seriously hydrated this winter then keep reading this post. Its all about getting hydrated with Avene skincare especially for those of you who have dry or sensitive skin. They have a gorgeous range that includes a Micellar Lotion, a gentle milk cleanser and a gentle toning lotion. Plus once you have seriously cleaned your skin leaving it feeling fab, you then add even more hydration with the  Avene Hydrance Rehydrating Serum. Trust me when I say that after just one go of all of these four products your skin will be super luminous. I love love love all the products I got to test out.

First up lets’s chat about the Avene Micellar Lotion (R220) which literally removes everything. Its become my go to with getting makeup off. So by the time I get to the other 2 steps its quick and easy. The lotion removes everything from face, eyes and even your lips while hydrating your skin at the same time. Its really gentle and soothing due to its key ingredient the Avene thermal spring water.

Apply with a cotton wool pad and wipe away your day plus it has a no rinse formula.

Next up the Avene gentle cleanser (R250) which feels so amazing on your skin plus leaves skin hyrated and squeeky clean. The gentle milk cleanser comes in a cream form that gently removes makeup without drying your skin. Even though I have combination skin my skin is sensitive so this is a goodie for me. The cleanser is enriched with moisturisers, the eau thermal spring water that soothes plus Sodium Hyaluronate that helps prevent dryness.

After cleansing the next step is the  Avene Gentle Toning Lotion (R260). This toner completes your cleansing routine by softening and protecting the skin from external aggressors. I never miss my toning stage of my skincare routine and I have quite a few different ones that I use. Some are in a cream format and some in a mist format. The key ingredient in the toner is the Silicates that softens and protects the skin. As well as being rich in the thermal spring water. I love that its alcohol free so skin doesn’t dry out it just feels so soft.

I am a firm believer in serums as they are what contain all the good stuff. The Avene Hydrance Rehydrating Serum (R330) provides serious hydration to the skin. After applying my skin is GLOWING and is instantly hydrated. The serum has a aqua film texture that leaves an “invisible veil” of moisture. Meaning less fine lines, supple skin and a luminous complexion. Yes please.

Keys Ingredients:

Cohederm complex and a high concentration of the thermal spring water restores the skin’s water levels and fortifies the skin barrier therefore preventing water loss. All this makes the skin stronger and more resilient to external aggressors. The serum is also infused with a powerful antioxidant  Tocopheryl Acetate which is a form of Vitamin E, this protects the skin from the formation of free radicals from external aggressors like UV rays. As well as Medical Glycerin that helps lock in moisture.

Its super affordable which makes it so great so if you struggle with sensitive or dehydrated skin you definitely need to invest in this bad boy.

I absolutely love Avene as a brand and how skin feels and looks. If you don’t know about the Avene Eau Thermal Spring Water Spray then go check out on my instagram Shahnaz Loves Beauty Face Mists insta stories. Its a must and a product I currently use every day.

To shop Avene products in SA they are available on Dermastore, Clicks or Dischem retailers. Its a super affordable brand that won’t let you down.
