Party Make Up Looks: 5 Easy Looks
The holidays are almost upon us and there is a lot of partying going on and we always need a little make up inspiration and guide on what to wear. So here are 5 party looks:
Mascara and Red Lip: This is a classic look and perfect for a party night as a red lip makes any look and is perfect with that little black dress. The key items are the lipstick, mascara and the taupe eyeshadow. I used Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Lipstick in Red Door, in the eye crease I used Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Sable and the mascara I used the Elizabeth Arden mascara on top and bottom lashes.
Liquid Liner with Red Lip: This is one of my favourite looks and its modern and classic at the same time. The feline flick just makes the red lip pop even more and is so flattering on the eye. The key items here is the liner and red lipstick I used the Elizabeth Arden Red Door lipstick and for the flick I used the new Clarings 3-Dot Liner that launches in March 14 love this liner as its so easy to use.
Chocolate Shimmery Eye: A chocolate smokey eye is always pretty and so easy to do you can’t see so well in the picture but I did a video tutorial on how to do this look. They key items are Mac Paint Pot in Constructivist and Mac Pressed Pigment in Beaming. Apply the paint pot with a flat brush up the the crease and then take a blending brush and blend in the crease to smooth out the edges and then with another flat brush pat on the pressed pigment to create the shimmer. Its that easy!
Purple Shimmery Eye: Purple is always a pretty look and great for a party night. The trick here is the layering so that the purple really pops. I prepped the eye first with the Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Let’s Skate then I took a deep purple shadow and applied with a flat brush up to the crease and then blended the edges and then using the Mac Pressed Pigment in Amethyst I pressed the purple shimmer onto the lid to create a pop and in the inner corners I applied Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Fanatasme. Go under the lash liner with the purple shadow and apply lots of mascara.
Glitter Eye: I wanted to do something fun as some people like to play more with make up and this look would be prefect for New Year’s Eve. The key item for this look is the glitter. I first prepped the eye with foundation then I applied a taupe eyeshadow as the base and added a darker chocolate to the crease. Then to make sure the glitter stays either use eyelash glue or in the instance I used Kiko Mixing solution as the base and with my fingers I pressed the glitter from Inglot onto my eyelid.
Enjoy the holidays and the parties and have fun with your make up.
Hope you enjoyed my post. x
