There are days when I am so exhausted that the only way to feel alive is to get my makeup on and bump up my skincare routine. A lilttle bit of a pamper is always a great way to add that extra glow to your skin before you apply your makeup. There are a few steps you can take to make up go from tired to healthy that I swear by.

Here’s how to freshen up your complexion when you looking tired:

1.Use you a face scrub to take away all the dead skin and ensure your skin is glowing so by the time it comes to applying our makeup your complexion will look so much fresher.

2.I love a hydrating face mask when I am really tired its not too heavy but just adds that extra glow and always makes me feel so much better.

3.A facial oil like the Smashbox primer oil or Skoon Glow drops is great to add that natural glow unless you have oily skin miss this step. I like to add a couple of drops and make tired looking skin appear healthy.

4.Concealer is my best friend when I am tired and works wonders when I haven’t had enough sleep and especially when I am sick.

5.A dewy liquid foundation is amazing worked in with fingers especially in the centre of your face blended outwards. Its amazing that with just some concealer and foundation your complexion can look so much fresher.

6.Mascara opens up your eyes and makes them appear bigger. I love a volume mascara that takes my no lashes to wow lashes and I go from tired to looking a million times better.

7.A flush on your cheek is definitely a great way to perk up as tired complexion I love peaches and pinks to wake me up and give a healthy glow.

8. Take a balm like Elizabeth Arden 8HR Cream and apply to lids and top of your cheek bones if you want an extra glow or take a cream highlighter and apply to the top of your cheek bones.

9. Lipstick is literally your best friend when you are looking tired and run down. My favourite is a bright lip but a berry lip, a gloss can also do the trick.
