A fellow blogger recently asked me about cream eyeshadows and how to get them from creasing. There are some alternatives available that are cream and that don’t crease. Some cream shadows are greasy and definitely won’t last the distance. My favourite cream shadows are the Mac Paint Pots because they are great to wear on their own and last a lot longer than a lot of cream shadows and they are also a great base when applying eyeshadow on top. Another great alternative if you looking for a smokey eye with a cream texture are the gel liners from Bobbi Brown and Black Track from Mac they have a different consistency and last for hours.
When applying the gel liners dab on the lid up to the crease make sure you get into the bed of the lash line and then take a blending brush my favourite is the Mac 217 and blend at the crease line to ensure its tidy. You can add 2/3 layers to ensure you have enough and that it will last. they dry quickly so apply to one eye first and blend before doing the other eye.
The Bobbi cream shadows also have good staying power. Add an eye primer before applying like Urban Decay to help them stay put. I personnally find the more expensive brands last longer.
Hope you enjoy the post.
