I have been waiting for Glossier to finally hit SA and ladies you can now get your hands on the Glossier Cloud Paint!!! I spend time each day researching on Instagram and came across an account called The Beauty Co. I am happy to announce that they are not too pricey at R250 each and trust me a little goes a long way. I made the initial mistake of squeezing a little too much out. I purchased 2 of the shades and the delivery was super efficient and quick. If you love a cream blush then these are definetly worth checking out.
The Glossier Cloud Paint comes in 4 shades Puff (light pink) , Beam (peach shade), Haze (berry shade) and Dusk ( brown nude shade) in SA. I purchased puff and beam and below I am testing out Beam. The blushes are a cream gel formula to add a flush of colour to your cheeks. I love a cream blush because it just gives a more dewy finish to your skin. Its seamless, sheer and can be buildable. The shades are great for pretty much all skin tones and just look super pretty on. Check out the Glossier site to see how each shade looks on each skin tone to work out which one works for you. Sadly we only get the 4 out of the 6 but am sure that will change.
The best way to apply is either use your fingers, a brush or a sponge. Here I am working a little bit with a brush and then blending into my skin. If you feel you have too much then take off any excess onto the back of your hand. Then apply onto the apples of your cheeks and blend in.
So here I applied the Puff shade onto Kayla with a Real Techniques sponge (its an unedited pic from my recent beauty shoot) and you can see it gives a sheer finish. You can keep building with the sponge just add a dab to the sponge and then apply. I like the finish that it gives to the cheeks and makes the finish look really seemless.
A cream blush is perfect for summer or winter to add to the healthy glow I love so much. To order yours go to the instagram account the_beauty_co_za. All you have to do is whatsapp and make your order and 2 days later its at your door. Definitely will be investing in the other 2 because they work a treat and shoot beautifully as well.
