Sadly I didn’t get to film a video for my June beauty favourites before I left for holiday but here they are any way for you. I still can’t quite believe we are over half way though the year but its been a good one packed with so much beauty. So here are the June favourites:
I am really into my skincare at the moment and each month I have more and more skincare favourites. This month I have really been loving Barbor as a brand, if you haven’t checked out my other posts go have a read but the favourite this month has been the Barbor deep pore cleansing mask because it has a peeling effect due to the granules leaving nothing but smooth gorgeous skin.
Vichy have brought out there new purete thermal range and I have totally fallen in love with the fresh cleansing gel. A good cleanser is really key for me and I am always on the look out for a goodie. This one is light on the skin leaving my skin feeling fresh but not dry at all like some cleansers can and I know my skin is clean before I move onto the next step of my beauty routine.
Clarins Bright Plus HP intensive brightening smoothing serum is one of my favourite serums I have used so far as it really brightens up my complexion leaving a beautiful glow. I haven’t used it long enough to say if its reduced my dark spots but complexion definitely seems brighter.
Benefit has totally taken over for the month of June since its coming back to SA. I haven’t stopped using two of the items the Benefit They’re Real mascara which was one of my favourite mascara’s a while ago but since getting a new one from the team I literally haven’t stopped using. It gives amazing looking lashes with its amazing applicators that lengthens, curls, adds volume and lifts those lashes. And oh yes there will be 2 new shades coming our way when it launches 18th July in Cape Town. Next up the Benefit Hoola matt bronzer its taken over all my other bronzers in my personal stash and what can I say other than it gives me a sunkissed natural looking complexion.
Loving the W Hidro lipstick from woolworths in Minx is a gorgeous deep pink that really lifts up the complexion, even though its winter in Cape Town I find myself still reaching for bold lipsticks to really give me a lift. The hydro lipsticks are really hydrating as they are formulated with Vitamin B so no drying out and absolute comfort.
Last up the makeup brush that stood out for me was my new Zoeva rose gold fine liner brush no 315, its at an agle so it makes applying gel liner so much easier without minimal mess. LOVE.
