Lashes Galore at MFW SS16
Rather than posting all of my fav looks from the catwalks I am focusing on trends from each fashion week that stand out for Spring/Summer 16. At Milan Fashion week is all about the lashes that are a key trend to take note of. I picked 4 of my favourite looks because they are so wearable and look oh so pretty.
1) At the Marni show makeup artist Tom Pecheux created doll like eyes with a focus on the bottom lashes and long lashes on the top, with minimal makeup on the rest of the face it looks pretty modern and cool.
2) At the Au Jour Le Jour show my fav blue mascara was thickly applied on the top and bottom lashes, with a dewy complexion and a barely there lip. Simple but so pretty.
3) At the Stella Jean show fake lashes were applied to the top lashes focusing on the outer corners of the eyes and then clumped along the top lash line making a pretty doll eye look. The rest of the makeup is flawless with a gloss lip so the focus stays on the lashes.
4) At the Franceso Scognamiglio show makeup artist Georgina Graham combined a fresh face with freckles and heavy black mascara on the lashes and a clear lip. Love it.
