Shahnaz Loves Beauty

London Fashion week is still the coolest of all the fashion weeks because the makeup is cool and bold I love it. This year for LFW AW16 we see some rock n roll hair and makeup. Again its all about amazing looking skin with dewy being the biggest trend so skincare plays a big part in getting the skin looking so good. So remember beauty routine is number one for makeup!

Whether is a bold lip, glitter or graphic eyes LFW AW16 has got it all. Plus accessories are big in the shows so a cool head piece with messy hair to go with the makeup just makes it even cooler. The Alexander McQueen shows us how to work the crystal headpiece with a messy updo that somehow just looks totally cool and glamorous. The makeup is so subtle with kohl pencil shaded to create a soft smokey eye.

Lips, lips and more deep red/berry lips are a big trend I am totally obsessed with the deep red matt lip with the barely there makeup and no mascara from the Mary Katrantzou show and the berry shine lip with the rock n roll hair paired with sunglasses from the Gareth Pugh show.

Burberry was all about the slept in hair with glitter on the outer corners of the eye a great look for a party you could tone it down and just have a touch of glitter to add an extra dimension to the makeup. Skin of course looks amazing with lips being totally nude.

Topshop Unique is definitely one of the coolest makeup looks with the graphic eyes and magneta or nude lips depending on the model. Black Kohl pencils are definitely the way to go to define your eyes for AW16. Different models had different looks so as to ensure the makeup suited each individiual girl so whether is the focus on both the bottom and top lash line or just the bottom is very cool either way.

Loving the Holly Futon makeup this season with silver leaf paper used on the crease line up to the brow bone. Obviously this will not be something you recreate at home but you could take silver pigment or glitter and work it that way for a party night out. Again makeup is barely there with skincare being the focus and lips are totally bare.

What;s your favourite LFW AW16 beauty trend?
