Shahnaz Loves Beauty

This year seriously seems to be flying past and this month I am sharing my beauty favourites not only that I have personally loved but have also been using on shoots as well. Its mostly makeup this time with a little bit of skincare and hair styling thrown in. Its definitely been a month filled with makeup and amazing shoots but its also been about looking after my skin ready for the winter weather. So here are March beauty favs:

Even though the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette isn’t new its new to SA coming our way in May. I had only ever used the origional palette and was given this one to try out and its basically been my go to for shoots ever since I got hold of it. Whether its a natural eye or a smokey with some gorgeous highlights its worked perfectly for me.

L’Oreal are launching quite a few products this month sadly the Sculpt Blush (R169.95) ¬†doesn’t launch till June but I had to share as I am really loving it. Its a combination of a highlighter and 2 bronze shades to contour and basically add that sun kissed glow. It works perfectly for my skin tone and really adds an extra pop to make my complexion look amazingly healthy.

The L’Oreal Infallible powder foundation isn’t new to the market but its new for me. I was cleaning out my makeup room as we move house in 3 weeks and I forgot that I had all these gorgeous powder foundations. I have been using them on shoots to set the liquid foundation and take away any shine rather than use straight onto the skin and they working beautifully. You can also work the darker shades to contour as well so thumbs up from me.

I have been loving Avene skincare for quite some time and came across the Cleanance cleansing gel in Clicks a couple months ago and decided to give it a go. I love it that much I bought another one and its now my cleansing gel of choice. Its super refreshing and light on the skin. My complexion doesn’t feel like its been stripped after just really soft and smooth.

My favourite skincare product so far this month has been the Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster. Its a like a serum that literally glides onto your skin and leaves your complexion feeling absolutely amazing. You can either use before a serum or before your moisturiser to help boost the results of your skincare. I have been using this bad boy for about a month and a half and my skin feels and looks great.

Last up the Urban Fudge Iced Raspberry and Vanilla hairspray strong hold is my favourite on set hair spray as well as my own personal favourite. Firstly it smells amazing so even when I have to whack a whole load into the model’s hair they don’t mind because it smells so good but it works a treat at keeping the hair in place. Love it.

So that’s it for March.
