My Budget Pick – Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadows
I was recently watching some behind the scenes videos on Youtube and came across the Maybelline channel. I have been wanting to try out the Colour Tattoo shadows for a while but just never got round to it. After watching the product being used backstage for fashion week I fell in love immediately. They are easy to use and look beautiful. Sadly not all the colours are availble in SA so I got my lovely friend Charissa to send me some from New York.
I used the Bad to the bronze shade on my beauty shoot yesterday by applying with my fingers on the lid and all the way up to the brow bone. Here is the lovely Emma from my shoot:
I absolutely love the texture of the cream shadows and they glide on beautifully and are long wearing cream shadows that don’t crease and are highly pigmented. A lot of cream shadows crease and don’t have the staying power but this one does. I always used the Mac Paint Pots but this definitely competes with the paint pots. The shadows are budget winner for me and are going to be a key staple in my pro make up kit.
What I also love is that the lighter shade Barely Branded can also be used as a highligter which make it even more of a budget buy as you can use it for both eyes and highlighting. Happy days.
