Whether its winter or summer we need to take care of our bodies. Its not only all about the complexion its also really important to keep our bodies hydrated and moisturised so that skin feels soft and has a gorgeous glow to it. There are a few items I love to use on shoots especially when shooting swimwear or lingerie to give that extra glow to the body.
Its not new by any means and one that I use on myself and all the model’s I work with the Nivea Rich Nourishing Moisturiser. This bad boy seriously hydrates the body and is great for dry winter skin or dehydrated skin from being in the sun. Its quite a thick moisturiser but leaves your body feeling amazing and legs definitely have that glow going on. Enriched with minerals and Almond Oil to stop skin from drying out and give all the love back that your body needs. Love it.
Love body oils to give that natural sheen to the skin sadly this product isn’t available in SA is the amazing Goe Oil that I picked up in London recommended by another makeup artist. This oil comes out in a balm but when blended into the skin becomes an oil. Firstly it smells heavenly and reminds you of being on holiday plus it gives a glow that looks incredible. Its an all natural body oil with 28 fruit, plant and flower oils and butters. Its also a goodie to apply to lips and cheeks bones to create an all natural glow to your complexion as well as your body.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream All Over Miracle Oil is great to spritz all over your body when its in need of some love. The newest product in the eight hour cream collection you really can’t go wrong with this one. Its amazing to hydrate your body as well as face and hair. What I love about this oil is that its no greasy so you can spritz on the body and it doesn’t leave marks on your clothes. Its great to add a glow to your legs, shoulders and arms.
