Its been a month of lots of new products to play around with especially with makeup. Some products I literally use every day and can’t live without when it comes to my personal stash and some fav’s when I am on set. The list was so easy to put together because there has been so much to choose from all the way from the budget brands to the high end brands plus my skin has never felt better. I have theown in a couple products from my UK haul have been thrown in after my quick visit to London to surprise one of my best mate’s for her 40th.
So here is the Feb Beauty Favourites lowdown:
Chanel Healthy Glow Foundation: If you didn’t catch my post on this foundation then click here to read about it in more detail. But bascically I love it as its perfect for my skin type and makes my skin look amazing. Yes its expesive but its one of those investment products. It blends in beautifully and makes my skin look dewy and really natural which I love plus it totally evens out my skin tone. So thumbs up from me.
Gosh Boombastic XXL Swirl Volume Mascara: I love mascara and I love anything that gives me volume. It does what it says on the packaging it gives me volume and it just takes a couple of coats to get the volume I want. There is no smudging and lashes don’t look clumpy and guess what it won’t break the bank. LOVE
Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre: This cream was recommended by an overseas makeup artist that swears its the best so I got my mum to get me a few tubes. I love it. The cream is super light and melts into the skin leaving a healthy looking complexion. Its definitely my go to on set and think it will be for quite some time. Sadly you can’t get in the SA but get someone from overseas to get you some its well worth it.
Yardley Supermoist Scarlet Flame lipstick: I was pretty impressed with these lipsticks and the colours. I am all about the bold lips so when these landed on my desk I was already impressed by the colour range. Love the bold red shade its so hydrating and brightens up my complexion to a whole other level.
Morphe That Glow Bronzer Palette: Another overseas buy that I tested out as soon as I got on a makeover for the birthday girl in London on on myself. There is a great shade selection so will be perfect for me to use on shoots and a little goes a long way. You have your matt and shimmer shades so depending on what you want its basically all here plus I love the quality.
Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil: I am all about the face oils especially as my skin gets really dehydrated. Firstly it smells pretty amazing and reminds me of being in a spa which automatically soothes the senses. Its got 100% pure plant extracts, soothes stressed skin, helps prevent moisture loss and deals with the signs of ageing. Basically it revitalises tired skin which in a nut shell is what I need.
