My Red Lipstick Picks
In my recent shoots I have been asked to do a red lip. Red lips are always on trend and we pretty much see them in every season. I have way too many lipsticks but I feel never enough red lipstick as there are so many shades to choose from from a traffic red to a deep red. Not all colours will suit you so remember to try before you buy.
For the porcelain a more orange based or cherry red like Lady Danger by Mac, for fair skin tone a cooler red works best but you can get away with a brigher red, for a medium skin tone a brighter red like a Mac Russian Red looks amazing and for Olive skin tones you can get away with most of the reds but a bolder red like Ruby from Stila would be perfect and for dark skin I am a fan of Russian Red but again this skin tone can wear most shades. I am a big fan of Mac when it comes to lipsticks as they really cover all the colours and the red lip editorial palette is a winner for me.
