I absolutely love my new Urban Decay born To Run Palette its one of the best palette’s I have had yet to date. The brand have given us lots of amazing shades to work all year round to create gorgeous eye looks. In this post I created a smokey eye look that I recreated from the New Years Day Party I went to. Its super easy to create with a mix of just 4 shades. I took the concealer from my Huda Beauty New Nude Palette but didn’t actually use any of the shades in this look.
So here is how I created the smokey eye look:
Once I applied the concealer to my lids I took my Zoeva Vegan Brush in 142 and applied the Riff and applied into my eye crease to start creating definition.
Then I applied with the same brush the shade Punk to amp up the smokey eye in the outer corner of my crease and on my bottom lash line.
I then took the bronze shade Ignite with my Zoeva 227 brush and applied to the lids leaving the inner corner. I love a bronze on the eye its just so pretty on and makes the eye really pop.
Then for the inner corner of the eyes to add that pop I applied with my Zoeva 223 brush the shade stranded to make my eyes look more awake.
I then decided to add a pop of purple/pink shade wildheart to add an extra dimension to the look.
I added the NYX Jumbo white liner in Milk into my waterline to make my eyes appear more awake and I love the contrast with the smokey eye. Make sure you apply onto the waterline and be careful not to get any on your bottom lashes.
Next I applied my Maybelline Rocket Express Mascara to the lashes to finish off the eyes. I love this drugstore mascara as it completely coats my lashes with no smudges and gives my sad lashes gorgeous volume. I left filling my brows out for this look but to make it more dramatic you can fill in and shape your brows.
I had already applied my base and highlighter before starting this look so I just added in my Clarins Bronzer with My Kitco Flawless Face Brush to contour my face.
Then finished the look with the Revlon Kiss Plumping Creme in Fresh Petal. Revlon have launched a selection of these cute nude lipsticks that are super hydrating and really pretty on.
Its a super easy quick look and I am excited to really play with the palette. Am going to aim to film this tutorial and a few others with the Urban Decay Born To Run Palette so watch this space. The palette is available in Urban Decay stores in SA plus you can buy online here with it retailing at R800 its definitely money well worth spent.
