My Week: Lips, Elle and A New Foundation
Another week of beauty, shoots some amazing new editorials out this week. So here is the highlights of my week crammed into one post and a video I want to share with you:
1) My main fashion editorial for Elle Magazine SA came out this week with the amazing Spanish model Gara. The story was called Uptown Girl of which I did the makeup for it, the makeup was all about that chic look so we went for a thin gel liner on the top lash line, a fesh face and a nude lip with of course some contouring and a brow.
2) The latest Mac Spring Summer Forecast 15 Lip and Cheek Palette is out and I just couldn’t help myself cause I love a lip palette and Mac just get it right. It makes my life so much easier and I get 6 shades for not too much money plus they have multi use so happy days all around.
3) Lisa Eldridge gives us another gorgeous but simple makeup look for a date night with your man or friends. Its all about seamless blending, a lip and beautiful skin that actually can be worn day or night and just looks so pretty. Thanks Lisa
4) I got a Smashbox drop this week with their latest addition the Photo Filter Creamy Foundations. I haven’t properly tested them out yet but my initial thoughts are that I really like them. The powder feels silky to the touch and very lightweight on the skin. Its perfect for those who don’t like wearing anything heavy on the skin and its also great to add some extra coverage to your foundation to ensure it lasts all day but still look radiant.
