My first week back at work after three amazing weeks off and its been a week of no makeup makeup and fresh beautiful skin. So here is the highlights of my week packed into one post for you:
1) The Nails Inc Basil Street nail polish is totally my favourite nude polish at the moment. This one landed on my desk last month because as you know the nude polish is so on trend right now. Its literally the perfect nude shade and as my model yesterday has the most amazing hands I thought why not share how it looked on her rather than mine. The polishes applies beautifully and 2 coats gives the perfect coverage.
2) I love sharing video’s especially from rockstar celebrity makeup artists like Mary Greenwell as artists like Lisa Eldridge and Charlotte Tilbury assisted her back in the day so this woman really knows her stuff. This week’s beauty instalment is perfecting the skin to get you red carpet ready and even though its with Chanel products its the process that is really important not so much the brand being used. You all know I go on about skincare well here it is and you can see for yourself its the key.
3) I have quite a few eye shadow palettes because that’s my work and well because I love eye shadow palettes. I haven’t used my Urban Decay Naked palette in quite some time because I have been obsessing over other ones but this weeks its been my go to palette for the no makeup makeup look on my 4 day Intersport Sweden job and on my Edgars editorial shoot yesterday. I have fallen back in love with it and I forgot how beautiful the quality is.
4) Here’s a little sneak peek from the shoot this week with one of the many models, this look was a little bit more than the nude look for the rest of the girls I used the Urban Decay Naked palette mixing the 2 darkest shades Creep and Gunmetal to give a slightly edgier look, foundation I used Mac Face and Body and prepped the skin with Dermalogica cleanser, antioxidant mist and moisturised using the Smoothing Cream. I filled in brows and added a subtle amount of mascara, contouring was subtle and I only used Carmex for the lips.
Hope you had a great week people.
