My Week: Wet n Wild, A little Bit Of Lisa and L’Oreal 24HR Infallible
Its been a crazy week filled with lots of beauty and painting faces and of course new products. So here it is:
The Wet n Wild Liquid Liner hit my desk this week, its my first experience with the budget brand and so far I am impressed with the liquid liner. It applies really easily and the liner is highly pigmented so one application is more than enough. Watch this space for some more of their products.
L’oreal have quite a few new products launching in SA starting with the Infallible 24HR Foundation with a new design, hydrating hyaluron which gives continous hydration and a fresh dewy finish as well as extreme hold pigments. Its a long wear foundation that totally evens out the skin tone leaving a beautiful flawless finish.
Love Lisa Eldridge makeup tutorials, the latest instalment is the Alexa Chung tutorial with Alexa herself. Its a fresh and simple video with the classic liner, Chanel foundation, a little bit of a cream blush and a nude lip. Love it.
I always struggle with nail polish but my latest experience with CND Vinylux has been my best so far. The normal polish lasts 2 days max due to chipping, this polish lasted 6 days for me which really is a record. No base polish is required as its built into the polish and exposure to natural light secures the patent-pending ProLight technology, creating an enduring, long-lasting polish. While ordinary polishes become brittle and deteriorate over time, VINYLUX dries naturally to a flawless finish and strengthens its resistance to chips over time. Its more exoensive than the average polish at R140 but definitely think its worth it.
Hope you had a great week.
