New Things From Bourjois
Bourjois is definitely one of my favourite drugstore brands and I am always pretty excited to see what they are bringing out. I love their Healthy Mix foundation its definitely right up there for me so when the new Bourjois Air Mat foundation landed on my desk last week I was pretty excited to try. It seems its a big trend at the moment whether its a high end or drugstore brand matt seems to be a key focus. As well as the new foundation launch we see new shades and textures from the iconic Little Round Pot eyeshadows perfect for day and night.
So what’s the Air Mat foundation all about? Its super light on application and literally melts into the skin without the cakey feeling and keeping your face on all day long that promises 24HR hold so for those of you who are out on a night out and want the makeup to last then this may be a good one to put to the test. The foundation promises to be shine free all day due to its extra fine mattifying powder, zinc extract and tiny silica beads to absorb the oil throughout the day. With 5 shades in the collection there is actually one for me shade Toast because this time of year I have a tan happening and seriously struggle with foundations. It looks absolutely gorgeous on and it really feels like I am not wearing anything on my skin. It may even convert me to wearing a matt foundation once in a while. LOVE LOVE LOVE
The Bourjois little round pots (R125.95) are gorgeous little eyeshadows in different textures Bourjois are launching 8 new shades that are along the nude smokey side from pearly, matt to shimmery depending on what look you want to go for. I personally love a little matt for myself and then add a touch of shimmer in the inner corners of my eyes.
