My New Year’s Eve Smokey Eye and Skin Prep
I wanted to go with a sexy sultry eye to match my black Sandro dress and I wanted my skin to really glow. So how did I achieve it? Remember when wanting to achieve glowing skin you need to up your beauty routine and really get those products to melt into your skin. I already had done a full beauty regime in the morning and added an extra beauty regime before I went out. I also really wanted to try out the new Stila Magnificent Metals Liner in Black Gold that launches this month. So here is what I did and what I used:
The Prep: I first massaged in the Nimue Skin Refimer a rejuvination treatment to give my skin the extra boost it needed and then once that was applied I then applied my favourite Beauty Flash Balm that always gives my skin a wake me up and a beautiful glow and for under my eyes I lightly applied the Dirty Works Eye Cream.
The Skin: I am absolotely loving the Lancome Teint Visonnaire Duo make up but I only used the foundation it leaves my skin looking absoloutely flawless and of couse buffed in with my trusty Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. Under the eyes I used the Clarins Instant Concealer to hide away all my dark circles and make me look really fresh and awake.
The Eyes: I took my Mac 263 small angle brush to apply the beautiful black gold liner to give the definition to the smokey eye on my top lash line and then with my Mac 217 blending brush I applied the product and blended into my crease and then buffed to create the sultry smokey eye onto the lid, I went over the top lash line again to create more definition. In the top and bottom waterline I added Mac Eye Pencil in Smoulder. For my brows I filled in with the Smashbox Eye Tech Pencil and then to finish off I applied my trusty Charlotte Tilbury Fat Lshes Mascara.
Highlight and Contour: I wanted to really give my skin a beautiful finish and definition and bronze my skin up as I have a tan and I needed my body and face to match. I applied the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow in all the key areas and then to finish off my face I applied the Michael Kors Sexy flush on my cheeks.
The Lips: I wanted to go nude because of the smokey eye I used the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Kate Lipstick.
